This is a great opportunity to gain patient care experience. This temporary job involving patient care in a home environment. The patient is a married gentleman with a C4/5 spinal cord injury who needs morning care, while he is visiting family for the weekend.
Hours & Days:
It is a four-hour shift daily, starting at 7AM each day. Need to be available all three mornings.
Job Duties:
Typical morning routine care involving range of motion/stretching exercises, transfer with Hoyer lift, showering, toileting, and dressing.
This requires normal upper body strength and endurance (however there is no lifting). Patient would like to be ready for the day as quickly and efficiently as possible. He has a pleasant and respectful personality. His wife will provide training and will be available.
Compensation:
$25 per hour, guaranteed $100 per day.
