Office Assistants

Description:

You will shadow an experienced engineer with quadriplegia and assist him with his day-to-day work duties. All work will be directed by employer who will guide employee to essentially be his hands to take notes and input data into computer. The hours are great for someone who has school or other job. This posiiton does not require healthcare. This is great exposure to a Fortune 100 professional work environment.

JOB DUTIES:

Typical administrative assistant activities including typing, computer use, attending meetings (via Zoom), note-taking, responding to texts and calls, and assistance with paperwork. Typing speed should be at least 70 WPM and proficient grammar. Experience with MS Office Suite is necessary. Applicant must have a strong sense of responsibility, good corrected vision, and be comfortable reading a computer monitor from a slight distance. Driving employer's wheelchair accessible minivan.

Hours and days:

Multiple shifts available. First start time is 8 AM and ends at 1 PM. Second start time is 1 PM and ends at 6 PM. Typical schedule would be 2-3 shifts (10-18 hour weekly) based on availability. Employees are offered a set schedule to plan other commitments.

location:

This job is split between a private residence in Pacific Beach and offices in Kearny Mesa. Schedule flexes based on company needs and WFH schedule. Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.

compensation:

$17.50 per hour. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit and will be issued a W-2.
