PM Caregivers
Position involves helping a married gentleman with a C4/5 spinal cord injury with his evening routine and getting ready for bed. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on patient care experience in a safe and respectful home environment. Many employees have leveraged this experience for nursing, physical therapy, physician assistant schools and medical careers.
Job Duties:
Typical evening routine: range of motion/stretching exercises, transfer with Hoyer lift, basic hygiene, undressing, positioning, some laundry and clean-up from the shift’s events. This is a physical job that requires some upper body strength and endurance (no lifting). Training will be provided by current employees.
Chris must get ready for bed as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you are focused and work diligently, you should be able to finish all duties in less than 2 hours. You would be free to leave after and still be paid for the full shift.
Hours and Days:
It is a 2.5 hour shift daily, starting at 7:30 PM on weekdays and weekends. Typical schedule is two days a week (one weekend and one week day). You will be offered a set schedule to work around your other commitments. Hours are perfect for someone who is in school or has another job.

This is a private residence in Pacific Beach.
Compensation:
$20 per hour. Employees are paid bi-weekly with a regular payroll check and will be issued a W-2. Direct deposit is available.
